One of the things about fall is that as the weather turns cooler, most of us no longer want to drink a cold coffee in the morning. Especially once the morning moves from cool to cold. So, I’m going to lay out a very simple recipe for you all that closely mimics a Frappuccino only the warmer version. Here’s how I make a homemade latte coffee:
Making A Homemade Latte Coffee:
Things you will need:
- A blender
- 1/3 cup of sugar
- caramel syrup
- Whipped cream (If you want an extra fancy treat. You can also get coconut whipped cream for a dairy free version)
- 2 1/2 cups of milk (or almond/ soy or coconut if you need dairy free)
- coffee and a coffee maker
Brew coffee. Whether you brew it stronger than normal or not is a matter of taste. For making a homemade latte coffee. I like to brew normal strength.
While your coffee is brewing, put the milk, sugar and syrup in a blender and whip it up. This will make the caramel cream frothy for your coffee.
Pour the caramel creamer into the cup you mean to use. You want 1/3 to 1/2 of the cup to have creamer depending on how strong you want your homemade latte coffee. Pour the coffee in, and put whipped cream on top if you want whipped cream.
There you are! You have made a homemade latte coffee. If you would like to do a vanilla version of this, here’s a recipe for that.
Until next time,
